Medirad Moves from Teslova 33 to Plynárenská 7C (BBC5)

The Medirad clinic is moving to a new address. From our original premises at Teslova 33, we are relocating to Plynárenská 7C, BBC5 building, to offer you wider diagnostic imaging options and a more comfortable environment.

The move is also connected with expanding our service portfolio. In the new premises, X-ray examination will be added, and we are also expanding our 3D diagnostics with the state-of-the-art CBCT NewTom 7G.

CBCT (Cone Beam CT) is a modern form of CT with very high spatial resolution and, in many indications, lower radiation exposure compared to conventional CT, making it an ideal choice for detailed diagnostics of bone structures and the head and neck area.

The NewTom 7G will allow us to elevate ENT diagnostics, paranasal sinus examinations, and detailed anatomical assessment. We are also significantly expanding dental diagnostics. Thanks to the CBCT NewTom 7G, we will provide the highest quality dental diagnostics in Slovakia.

We will place special emphasis on sports radiology and pediatric traumatology, focusing on diagnostics of injuries, overuse conditions, and musculoskeletal problems in athletes, as well as a sensitive and precise approach to children’s examinations.

An important part of the changes is that we will perform MRI examinations with fast appointment times, typically within 7 days. The goal is to ensure patients can access magnetic resonance imaging without unnecessary waiting.

Ultrasonographic diagnostics remains a key part of Medirad. Our services include abdominal ultrasound, thyroid ultrasound, soft tissue neck ultrasound, urinary tract ultrasound, pelvic ultrasound, musculoskeletal ultrasound, Doppler examinations of carotids, arteries and veins of extremities, radiology consultation, and comprehensive radiology examination with consultation.

We plan to open at the new address Plynárenská 7C (BBC5) in the first half of April. We look forward to welcoming you in our new premises!
